My Story
From a very young age, I can remember spending my time in the kitchen helping my Mum and Grandma make food. I am Thai. I was born and raised in Thailand where the kitchen is the heart of the family home. My love of food and cooking have grown from there.
I absorbed my culinary skills by watching, learning, tasting and shopping with my mum. I didn't realise it at the time, but I was picking up skills which have been passed on from generation to generation, and cooking tips you can’t find in any books. I apply that knowledge in my creations today.
After I finished my engineering degree, I worked in the engineering field for eight years and then decided to study an MBA in the UK where I met my husband. Shortly after graduating, we got married and later moved out of London to have a family. We have two beautiful children.

Although I enjoy engineering, my real love is for food and the enjoyment that goes with it. After years of trial and error, practice and creativity in the kitchen, I have created dozens of tried and tested authentic recipes. I was eager for other people to taste real Thai food that is hand made with love using original ingredients and traditional methods. So, in 2011, I set up my first business providing authentic Thai cuisine and cooking experiences in England.

In January 2017 we came to visit Tassie and fell in love with the place. I was attracted by the unique clean and green environment and in particular the high quality of the produce which I knew would work well with my Thai cuisine.

I firmly believe that food is the foundation of a healthy lifestyle. We all benefit from less processed food and more real food made from natural ingredients. That is the Thai Larder philosophy.

Thai food is all about cooking from the heart, and I have married that with the precision and care that comes from being an engineer! I love more than anything to pass on my passion and enthusiasm to others through my authentic Thai cuisine.

I would love more than anything to share my passion for Thai cooking with you. Whether it is my home meal delivery service, a cooking lesson, or catering for a party or group event. Please get in touch.
